The long awaited new album by Ed Hale and the Transcendence, Rise and Shine, is being postponed for an indefinite period of time from its original release date for the spring of 2001. Apparently the band is not happy with the final mixes of the songs. The final mix of the album was completed at International Sound; the studio in North Miami owned by Jon Secada. The band is currently considering options of remixing most of the songs.
